As a Data Center Technician I, you will be at the forefront of resolving complex hardware infrastructure issues.
Your responsibilities will include creating and maintaining documentation on the technologies you support and sharing your expertise with junior staff members.
You should have basic to intermediate system administration skills and the ability to take on remote system administration tasks as part of a collaborative virtual team.
We value the ability to automate tasks with scripts and expect you to work autonomously to resolve most support issues.
In addition, you'll be responsible for executing small projects independently and collaborating with your manager on larger local projects.
You'll serve as the initial point of escalation for junior technicians and will need to have a deep understanding of the equipment you support.
We encourage innovative thinking and independent decision-making, but also value the ability to follow direction and pay attention to detail.
Team Culture:
Our team is comprised of internal client employees working together in a close-knit, team-oriented environment.
Your manager oversees a team of 18 employees, with 15 based in different locations.
External contact is limited in this role.
