A services organization in Oregon is currently seeking an experienced IT professional to join their Night shift staff as their new Data Center Technician.
In this role, the Data Center Technician will be responsible for providing operational support of several data center locations in Eastern Oregon.
Responsibilities:
The Data Center Technician will be responsible for:
Day-to-day incident management of servers and networking equipment, project work and capacity management Working closely with the Data Center Manager on projects scheduling and directing work for Junior Technicians and Associates Managing work and priorities through ticketing system and coordination with Data Center Manager Performing hardware troubleshooting and component replacement Collaborating with outside teams to resolve customers issues Participating in on-call rotation and provide after hours support, as needed Creation of standard operation procedures and knowledge articles Providing creative solutions to reoccurring problems and capacity demands Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:

year of IT Support experience Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree Hands-on experience with x86 Architecture-based systems Experience in a Data Center role/setting Experience with Linux or similar OS Good knowledge of Network design and protocols Solid understanding of Storage Devices Solid understanding of Scripting languages Able to obtain a CompTIA ServerPlus within first 3 months of hire date.
Solid problem solving and time management skills Great interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong attention to detail Highly organized Recommended Skills Attention To Detail Capacity Management Communication Data Centers Incident Management Interpersonal Skills Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
